Ich hab mir noch nie die Wahl eines Bundeskanzlers und die anschließende Ernennung und Vereidigung live angesehen. Bislang hat mir die Zusammenfassung abends in der Tagesschau gereicht.
Aber heute habe ich zusammen mit den Kursteilnehmern die ganze Aktion im Livestream angesehen. Das Timing war ideal, da wir uns im Unterricht gerade mit dem politischen System der Bundesrepublik beschäftigen. Eine interessante Erfahrung.
I’ve never watched the election of a German chancellor and the subsequent appointment and swearing-in ceremony live. Up to now I’ve been quite content with the highlights in the evening news.
But today I livestreamed the whole action in the classroom and watched it together with my students. The timing was ideal since we are at present concerned with the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany in class. A very interesting experience.

It was. Although not as interesting as today. We talked about religious freedom and tolerance. I will blog about soon. Hint: Atheists are not baby devouring monsters.
